Omni-pot is a self-reflective object that uses physical matter as a language to translate my perception of socialism into a tangible and a moulded representation of it. Its sculptural design enables for each part to carry a meaning. The undisturbed, fluent, infinite yet complete circular form acts as a base. This fluidity is broken by the vertical section, the iron curtain - restrictive and robust, thus limiting the function of the object. The inner conic part reflects the difference between the reality and my perception. It is coloured yellow showing the contrast between the grey and ‘brutal’ architecture and the colourful design that filled it.
Production involves casting, mirroring mass-production and omnipresence of one object, system and style.
